1a) Main Stream - MOEThis category is only open to schools and institutions registered under MOE (Ministry of Education) in Singapore. This includes Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges, Institution of Technical Education (ITE), Polytechnics and Universities. The team should consist of a minimum of 5 and maximum of 16 participants. Instruments qualified for the competition will be non-melodious percussion instruments. Please refer to the Instrument page for the list of instruments.
1b) Main Stream - OpenThis category is open to all members of the public. The team should consist of a minimum of 5 and maximum of 16 participants. 2) AlternativeThis category is for those who wish to perform with unconventional instruments, be it from dustbins to chopsticks; any object that is capable of creating sound. This category is open to all members of the public. The team should consist of a minimum of 3 and maximum of 16 participants. Participants should use Non-instrumental items (e.g. pots, dustbins, broom) for their performance in this category.

There is a registration fee of S$10/- per team member registered.
